PA Man Charged with Robbery in Lopatcong, NJ
Police in Pennsylvania arrested a man accused of committing a robbery in Lopatcong Township, New Jersey.
The suspect is an 18-year-old resident of Easton, PA. According to authorities, he robbed someone on the 200 block of Red School Lane in Lopatcong, NJ.
Law enforcement investigated the theft crime and identified the PA man as the possible culprit. Lopatcong police then reached out to law enforcement in Easton, PA because the suspect lives on the 1400 block of Ferry Street in Easton.
When police officers went to the suspect’s residence, they reportedly saw him attempt to flee out of a back door. Police officers quickly captured the suspect and took him to police headquarters.
After being arrested, the suspect was taken to Northampton County Prison. He was being held there in advance of an extradition hearing. He will likely be extradited back to Warren County, NJ, where he will face charges for robbery.
